Terms and Conditions

By making a purchase on www.harperandbath.co.uk, you confirm your acceptance of these terms and conditions. To order goods through this website, you must be at least 18 years of age.

1. Description of Goods

All images, descriptions, specifications, and advertising on our website are intended to provide a general overview of the products. While we strive for accuracy, we recommend consulting with a qualified installer before starting any installation. We will not reimburse installation costs resulting from errors in product descriptions. It is your responsibility to check the items upon receipt and confirm their suitability before commencing installation.

Please note that plumbing requirements may vary. Components such as pipework and fittings can differ in size and type (e.g., 15mm, 22mm, push-fit, threaded). Always verify compatibility with your specific plumbing setup, particularly for retrofit installations or where existing fittings are in place. Harper & Bath will not be responsible for costs incurred from plumbing modifications.

2. Delivery and Timescales

Do not schedule installation of your items until they have been delivered and inspected.

  • We will not compensate for missed appointments or installation costs due to delivery delays or damages.

  • Orders typically ship within 5 working days, although many items ship sooner. Special order or bespoke products may take longer, and we will contact you to discuss options if delays arise.

  • Delays are sometimes outside our control, and we are not liable for late deliveries. Always ensure you have received and checked your items before engaging an installer.

3. Payment & Pricing

  • Prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

  • We reserve the right to adjust prices due to supplier increases, taxes, or errors. If an order is placed with an incorrect price, we may cancel the order prior to dispatch and provide a refund.

  • Payment must be completed at the time of ordering. We accept major credit and debit cards, BACS, and PayPal, subject to approval.

4. Delivery Charges

  • Estimated delivery charges are shown on each product page and updated at checkout based on your delivery address.

  • Deliveries to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, and remote areas may incur a surcharge.

  • International delivery may be available for smaller items. Please contact us to confirm options and costs.

5. Returns and Exchanges

  • You may return unused products within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.

  • Returns between 30 and 90 days after delivery will receive a credit note valid for 12 months.

  • Returned items must be in original packaging and in resellable condition. Items that have been used, installed, made-to-order, or specially plated cannot be returned.

  • We offer a collection service for returns, subject to charges:

    • Small items: £9.99

    • Large fragile single box: £39.99

    • Multiple boxes or oversized items: £49.99

  • Collection surcharges may apply for remote areas. International collections are not available.

  • Refunds are processed within 7 working days of receiving the returned item.

6. Damaged or Faulty Items

  • Please inspect your items upon delivery and report any damage within 2 working days.

  • If damage is discovered, contact us immediately with photos of the damage and packaging. We will arrange for a replacement or refund.

  • Faulty items reported within 30 days of delivery are eligible for a refund or replacement. After 30 days, we will arrange repair where possible, or offer a replacement or credit note if repair is not feasible.

  • Items developing faults after 1 year are usually covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Please retain proof of purchase and warranty documents.

7. Installation and Liability

  • All products should be installed by a qualified professional. Installation by unqualified persons may invalidate warranties.

  • We are not liable for installation costs, or indirect or consequential losses, including lost revenue or missed appointments.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure the product is suitable for your water pressure, electrical setup, and domestic environment.

8. Warranties

  • All Harper & Bath products carry a minimum 6-month warranty. Extended warranties, if applicable, are provided by the manufacturer.

  • Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product and foreseeable losses directly resulting from our breach of contract.

9. Water Pressure and Product Suitability

  • Many bathroom products depend on specific water pressure or installation requirements. These are noted on product listings where possible.

  • Please seek professional advice prior to installation to confirm suitability. Products cannot be returned once installed.

10. Entire Agreement

These terms represent the complete agreement between you and Harper & Bath and supersede any prior agreements or representations.
